How to use


Put a ball of dough on the flat side and press to flatten it into a round. Move the round to the crimping side, add your filling, fold and press the handle to seal the edge.

If the edge will not seal

A dry wrapper is the usual reason a dumpling or empanada pops open. Brush the rim with a little water just before you fold, and keep the filling off the rim so the crimp can close. Use flour on the face of the press if the dough sticks, but keep it off the edge you want to seal. Very thick or very cold store-bought wrappers crack more easily, so let them come to room temperature first.
